The National Federation Party believes that the use of a common name has to be decided by the people.
While speaking on Straight Talk with our News Director, Vijay Narayan last night on Viti FM and Radio Sargam, NFP leader Dr Biman Prasad said the idea of a common name should not be imposed by the government on the citizens of Fiji.
When asked on how NFP will deal with the issue, Prasad said this has to go through the parliamentary process.
Prasad also made it clear that if NFP forms the next government they will review the 2013 constitution.
When asked on whether NFP will bring back the Great Council of Chiefs, Prasad said they will maintain their stand.
