Commissioner of Police says he always looked forward to Diwali

Commissioner of Police Sitiveni Qiliho says he always looked forward to Diwali as a young kid and even now at this age he still has a kid in him that goes for the sweets.

Qiliho says this is also the time to remember our brothers and sisters who have been called to eternal rest.

While speaking at the Fiji Police Force Diwali celebration, Qiliho says Diwali is all about goodness.

Qiliho adds that it's interesting how Diwali goes with policing with the message of triumph of good over evil.

He says it’s a calling for them as police officers to go back and think of the time when they decided to join the police force and think of how they will continue to do their work with pride.

The Commissioner also took his time out to play the instruments with the Bhajan team in the spirit of Diwali yesterday.

Police Director of Traffic Mahesh Mishra had organized the celebration at the Police Headquarters.
