The Commissioner of Police Ben Groenewald has confirmed that the Fiji Police Force has been receiving reports of the breaches of the Electoral Decree on a daily basis.
Commissioner Groenewald said that they received a complaint from one of the political parties this morning that some other parties are breaching the Electoral Decree.
Commissioner Groenewald also said that the Fiji Police Force is keeping a record of all the complaints that is related to breaches of the Electoral Decree.
He added that the reports are kept in their Command Contact Centre and is being handed over to FICAC for investigations.
ACP Rusiate Tudravu has also confirmed that a vehicle of a political party was allegedly damaged yesterday in Wainibuku.
Tudravu said that the initial investigation into the complaint has started.
He has also stressed that information being spread of a curfew to be imposed tomorrow evening at 6pm is not true.
Tudravu said Police have been inundated with calls regarding the curfew and he is once again calling on members of the public to stop spreading false information.
