Commander of the Republic of the Fiji Military Force Brigadier General Mosese Tikoitoga has commended the RFMF’s efforts for the past eight years to bring Fiji to where it is today.
While speaking at the passing out parade in Nasinu earlier today, Tikoitoga said it was not an easy decision for the RFMF to make but the takeover of the government was for the betterment of the people and the nation as a whole.
Tikoitoga added there are times when the Military have differences with the chiefs, churches and their family members but they have faith in the decision that they made to move the country forward.
Meanwhile, over 300 families and friends witnessed the passing out parade of 199 new recruits in Nasinu.
Tikoitoga reminded the new recruits to uphold the values of the RFMF and be faithful to their oath to serve their country with pride.
