The Leader of Jezreel Lion of Judah, Jone Cokanauto told the Suva High Court today that he never preached to the first state witness that she had to have sex with him to redeem herself.
Cokanauto also said that he never preached about having sexual intercourse with him to be cleansed.
He said that the message was about faithfulness between a man and his wife.
Cokanauto said there is no message of sexual intercourse in his interpretation.
He also said that one of the alleged rape victims who has already given evidence in court, was the voice of God and could see spiritual things.
Cokanauto told the court that she was part of their prayer group which was not a church as it was not registered.
He said there are more than 500 people in their prayer group and they live around Fiji and overseas.
Cokanauto said the alleged rape victim could see demons and angels and she was the main girl in their prayer group.
He also highlighted to the assessors that there was never a time where only he and the alleged rape victims were involved in prayer sessions as others were also there.
He said the alleged rape victim who had visions used to give them solutions on how to take out evil spirits from sick people.
Cokanauto says their prayer group worked around her visions as she was a powerful woman.
He told the court that he used to preach mostly on Sundays which were also at 2pm on Bula FM.
Cokanauto told the court that he preached about the Samaritan woman at a well and Jesus wanted to drink water from that well.
He said that when the woman refused to give water to Jesus, Jesus then offered a drink to the woman to please her so that she can give the water to him from the well.
Cokanauto said he preached that Jesus said to the woman that if he gives her his water then she will not come back to the well as it will satisfy her eternally.
Cokanauto then read Proverbs verses in court and said that Jesus told the men to be faithful to their wife just as they drink water from their own well.
He says Jesus also told men not to pour their water out on the streets and for them to not to give their love to just any woman.
Cokanauto told the court that Jesus said to the men that they have to be happy with the wife they married when they were young as she gives them joy as their fountain gives them water.
Cokanauto continues to give evidence before Justice Salesi Temo.
