All classes are normal at the Ratu Meli Memorial School, Navotua Infant School and Yageta village School in the Yasawa Group.
This was revealed by the Ministry of Education’s West office after the officials visited the schools to monitor the situation as the Island is facing a major setback from the dry weather spell.
The office says the children are using emergency water distributed from the Commissioner Western’s office.
They are requesting the school heads to monitor daily water usage at schools to avoid any wastage.
Meanwhile, Divisional Planning officer West, Sitiveni Tavaga confirm that close to $83,000 worth of water has been carted to Yasawa Group so far.
