Claims made on social media about student never reaching the health center not true

The case of the student who was involved in an accident along Milverton Road in Suva earlier this week is still being investigated by Police.

They say the claims made on social media about her never reaching the health center are not true.

Police say that they were able to track the victim to her school in Lami after the accident.

The student had received minor injuries and since then officers have recorded the victim's statement and questioned the driver alleged to have hit her.
