More than 25 children living with cancer and other life-threatening diseases will have their wishes come true this Christmas.

WOWS Kids Fiji Chairman Makrava Wilson said the WOWS team has been given a list of children’s names together with their wish list from the Oncology Ward at the CWM Hospital.

Wilson said the team will celebrate Christmas with the children on the 13th of next month and officially launch the opening of the Foundation’s new premises at Rewa Street.

Wilson also said the foundation does not want to confine the Christmas celebration to only those children currently undergoing treatment.

The foundation has also included those who have been discharged but may still be undergoing treatment and those children who have successfully completed their treatment.

He added children at the Lautoka Hospital will also be hosted to a Christmas party on the 19th of next month.

The $490,000 in the Fiji Cancer Society bank account is expected to be transferred to the WOWS Kids Fiji bank account soon.

Majority of the funds that was collected for WOWS is through the 2012 Walk on Walk Strong campaign where you the listeners of Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang and Radio Sargam contributed towards the worthy cause.
