Two Chinese officers are currently assisting the Fiji Police team relating to the investigation of the 12-year-old girl of Samabula, who was found dead in her Samabula home in September last year.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the two officers are here on attachment.
Fijivillage earlier reported that a number of people have been questioned and released in relation to the alleged murder of the 12-year-old girl.
However, no arrest has been made so far.
The 12-year-old girl was found dead by her father at their home in Samabula.
The girl was alone at home while her father had gone to drop the girl’s mother at church.
Police said when the father returned, he noticed that his daughter was lying motionless in their home.
She was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead.
