Cause of bus garage fire still being determined

The National Fire Authority is now working with the Fiji Police Force to try and establish the cause of the fire which led to 12 buses of S. Nair Transport Limited sustaining major damages.

National Fire Authority, CEO, John O’Connor said that they have already started with their initial investigation but they are now working with police to determine several other issues.

The 12 buses were involved in a fire at the Nair Transport Ltd garage at Wainibuku at 3am yesterday.

The estimated cost of damage is more than $1 million.
