Cathedral Secondary School to change name to Sacred Heart College

The name change of Cathedral Secondary School to Sacred Heart College will be done in conjunction with the schools Emerald Jubilee celebrations tomorrow.

The Vice Chairperson of the school Board, Julie Bently says the change of name is significant as it will be of greater impact to the school.

Bently says it’s very special for them as it will bring about positive changes in the future.

Bently says they hope to prove themselves to be worthy of the name change.

The program starts at 9 o’clock tomorrow at the Cathedral Secondary School.
