A man alleged to have raped his tenant on the 9th of this month has had his case transferred to the Suva High Court by the Nasinu Magistrates Court.
The man is charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
The prosecution objected to bail because they say the man has two pending cases in court.
The accused told Magistrate Sufia Hamza if the prosecution can clarify which two pending cases he has in court.
The prosecution managed to give the cases numbers but they did not have case particulars.
Magistrate Hamza has given the man an opportunity to file for an notice of alibi.
The case will be called on the 1st of next month.
