High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar has adjourned the case of Tevita Deve who is charged with murder to the 22nd of this month.
This is because there was uncertainty with regards to his legal representation.
On the last occasion, Deve had informed court that he wished to seek Legal Aid assistance and his previous counsel Marica Hussain officially withdrew as his counsel.
Deve is charged with one count of murder.
In March last year, Deve allegedly assaulted his 21 year old wife and murdered her by making her drink paraquat.
The wife was admitted in hospital for a few days before passing away.
Deve has been remanded in custody.
