The case of a man and a woman who are charged with two counts of operating a brothel has been adjourned to tomorrow.
Purnima Singh and Abdullar Shahid who are both facing two counts of managing a brothel in Suva wish to travel overseas.
The two wish to return to the country on the 5th of next month.
It is alleged that the two were operating a brothel in Suva between the 1st of July, 2009 to the 31st of January, 2010 and the 1st of February, 2010 to the 19th of February, 2011.
Magistrate Waleen George has asked for the prosecution to file a response on the accused persons’ wish to travel.
