The case of the 67-year-old man who is charged with two counts of rape has been adjourned to the 17th of this month for mention after the state lawyers have spoken to the victim in the case.
The man is alleged to have raped his 11-year-old grand daughter who is now 14 years old.
The alleged incident occurred between the 1st of June, 2015 to the 31st of August 2015 in Tailevu.
The victim will be coming to Suva for her school holidays next week.
The man’s bail has been extended while the trial will be held from the 10th to the 21st of next month.
