Case of 52‑year‑old Headteacher charged with indecent assault adjourned to next Tuesday

The case of a 52‑year‑old Headteacher who has been charged with one count of indecent assault has been adjourned to next Tuesday.

It is alleged that the man assaulted the head girl of the school, he was teaching in on 18th July 2016.

Only one of the two defence witnesses was present in court today.

Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage has asked for the witness to be present in court on the next date.
