The case against two men accused of stealing assorted jewellery worth $33,742 has been discharged by Suva High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar.
$3,250 cash was also stolen during the incident which happened on the 14th of April this year in Toorak.
This is after the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions filed to discontinue the proceedings against Mesake Navatoga and Semi Rakai.
They were charged with one count each of aggravated burglary and theft.
The prosecution lawyer said in court that they have filed to discontinue the case because they have issues in relation to identification.
