Australian Carmine Piantedosi is the new CEO of Land Transport Authority.
LTA’s Chairman Vijay Maharaj says they are confident in Piantedosi’s ability to chart a new direction forward for LTA considering his strong background in engineering, law and regulatory sector.
Recently, Piantedosi held the position of Manager, Regulation and Pricing at Goulburn-Murray Water which is the biggest providers of irrigation water to farmers in Victoria, Australia.
He has served as a Senior Regulatory Manager for Essential Services Commission in Melbourne and then as CEO and Part-Time Commissioner with the Utilities Regulatory Authority of Vanuatu.
Maharaj says Piantedosi started his three year term with LTA yesterday.
