Calls have been made for all stakeholders to work together to put a stop to illegal transactions at our borders.
While speaking at the International Customs Day celebrations, Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority CEO Jitoko Tikolevu said people are rearranging their skills to defeat the laws.
Tikolevu added that the pattern of criminal activities at the borders is regularly changing and a good example is the illicit drugs which were found in the tyres of a quad bike at the Lautoka wharf last month.
He said they are continuously training their staff to detect illegal trading.
