A call for sporting bodies in the pacific to significantly improve and re-prioritize their objectives has been made by the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
Speaking at the opening of the Oceania National Olympic Committee Annual General Meeting, Nailatikau says we must ensure that proper strategic planning is in place to promote strong standards of governance in our various sporting bodies.
Nailatikau says as developing nations we need to effectively utilize those resources that are at our disposal by demanding more efficiency and accountability.
He says we should recruit the best we can find, to run and to operate all of our national federations at the highest possible level.
