Cadet training is about instilling team spirit, sense of duty, honour, integrity, and most importantly the value of discipline.
This was highlighted by Minister for Rural and Maritime Development Inia Seruiratu at the passing out parade for Saint Vincent College.
Seruiratu highlighted to the cadets that the discipline they have been taught during their training should become a habit, and not just an adaptation in life.
He says discipline is the bridge between goals and their accomplishment.
Seruiratu says the most successful people in life exert discipline on a daily basis and without it life would be in chaos.
He adds that students need to do their part and take advantage of the subsidies provided by government to fulfill their aspirations and the dreams of their families.
Seruiratu also reminded the cadets that they are the hope and future of Fiji.
