CWM Hospital today received five wheelchairs from Vodafone ATH Foundation in partnership with Spinal Injury Association.
Head of Ecommerce and Corporate Affairs Manager Shalendra Prasad said the foundation believes business is not meaningful without contributing back to the society.
Prasad said thirteen beds and five more wheelchairs and other equipment will also be donated to the Hospital next week.
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent Dr. Jemesa Tudravu said between five hundred to two thousand people visit the hospital everyday.
Tudravu said nearly quarter to half of those visiting the hospital need to be assisted with wheelchairs.
He added that the hospital will need about three hundred wheelchairs to help these patients.
