The Criminals Investigations Department is expected to give its advice on what steps to be taken regarding the TFL Cable Cabinet fire case in Raiwai today.

TFL’s Cable Cabinet along Nairai Road in Raiwai was set on fire last Monday.

A juvenile who was allegedly involved in the incident has been released after being questioned by Police.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says they have interviewed the guardians and are waiting on the Director CIDs further directions.

The incident occurred when a pile of rubbish near the cabinet was set alight.

The fire affected TFL landline and Connect Internet Services in some parts of Raiwaqa.

Telecom Fiji Limited is offering a reward of $1,000 to anyone who provides information which may lead to the arrest of those responsible.
