Close to 40 businessmen from Korea are in the country to explore investment opportunities in land-based energy and mineral resources, marine sciences, marine energy and bio resources.
They were part of the ‘Symposium on Exploring Korean Contributions to the Blue-Green Economy of the Pacific Region’ in Suva which is aimed at identifying sustainable research funding and business opportunities development. ENDS!
While speaking at the daylong symposium, Minister for Works, Transport and Public Utilities, Timoci Natuva said Fiji is now embarking on “green growth in blue economies” Pacific model to better harness natural resources, reduce vulnerability to environmental risks and promote socially inclusive development.
