People living in Olosara, Oloolo, Nayawa, Tulalevu, Laselevu and surrounding areas in Sigatoka should expect their water supply to normalise by 2am tomorrow.
This is after surging waters from a burst main created a deep sink hole in the main street of Sigatoka town this morning.
Water is now being carted to these affected areas.
The Water Authority of Fiji says what should have been a straight repair job became a major incident where a farmer’s truck fell into the sink hole.
According to the Authority, the truck was stuck over the broken main and couldn’t be removed
