Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and Opposition MP Mosese Bulitavu.

Opposition MP Mosese Bulitavu today raised concerns regarding the resignation of four Fiji First parliamentarians and called on members of the government to prevent future resignations.

He says the resignation undermines the rights of the voters who participated in the 2014 general elections.

Sanjit Patel, Timoci Natuva, Neil Sharma and Pio Tikoduadua are the Fiji First members who have resigned from their parliamentary positions.

While speaking on the President's address in parliament today, Bulitavu also highlighted that they are asking legitimate questions and it should not be looked as questions for political gain.

Meanwhile Bulitavu says the Prime Minister has taken a step towards the right direction by not changing the Fiji flag however Bulitavu thinks Bainimarama should give his Foreign Affairs Portfolio to someone else in the cabinet.

Bulitavu says Bainimarama is supposed be the last line of defence but he has placed himself in the first line of attack.

He says the Prime Minister's travelling will also increase.
