Bula Festival Committee aims to raise over $100,000

The Bula Festival Committee at this year’s festival say they are looking at raising more than $100,000.

President Mohammed Hafiz says the committee wants to invest in a property because for the past 55 years they have relocated their office more than enough.

Hafiz says it is about time they get their own place.

Hafiz says this year the committee will assist a Non-Government Organisation Yacein Vission in building a Primary school in Korovotu Nadi.

Meanwhile Bula Festival will start this Saturday with 10 contestants competing for Miss Bula, Miss Charity and Miss Personality crowns at Prince Charles Park.
