Budget allocated to FRA is committed - Bala

Minister for Infrastructure Parveen Bala says the budget allocated to the Fiji Roads Authority is committed.

While responding to NFP Leader Biman Prasad’s comment that the FRA budget should be reduced, Bala says the budget allocated is for next year and cannot be reduced.

Bala also says any country’s growth depends on its infrastructure.

Biman Prasad says some of FRA’s funding should be reduced and be allocated to other areas.

Parveen Bala says the Opposition cannot just come to Parliament and start saying to increase and decrease certain allocations.
