The 29‑year‑old woman who allegedly unlawfully imported methamphetamine into the country last week has been remanded in custody by the Suva Magistrates Court.
Egnas Brown is charged with one count of unlawful importation of illicit drugs and also one count of offering a benefit to a public official.
Brown was found with a parcel containing illicit drugs which was concealed inside a tube and was sent from the USA.
Officers from the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority intercepted the parcel from the Suva Post Office last Thursday.
This case will be called on the 4th of July.
