Katarina Lilicama of Napuka Secondary has set a new record of 42.44 metres and won gold in the Intermediate Girls Javelin.
Tupou Tuiloa of Saint John’s College took the silver medal while the bronze medal has gone to Joana Tabua of Jasper.
Junior Girls 800 metres favourite Maia Ramsden of International School Suva broke her record again with a time of 2 minutes 16.55secs winning gold.
She broke her own record of 2 minutes 21.93secs set in the heat yesterday.
This is Ramsden’s second gold medal this year as she also won the 1,500 metres final.
