Biman Prasad launches verbal attack in Parliament on Bainimarama and Bala

NFP Leader in parliament Professor Biman Prasad launched a verbal attack on the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and Minister for Infrastructure Parveen Bala while responding to the President’s speech.

Prasad says he rightfully deserved to respond to statements which were made by government members against the National Federation Party this week.

Government MP Alvick Maharaj raised a point of order saying that Professor Biman Prasad should only respond to the President’s speech.

But Prasad continued by responding to Infrastructure Minister Parveen Bala’s statement on Wednesday when Bala said that the NFP has made a joke of itself and of its continued boycott of parliament.

Parveen Bala then raised a point of order saying he was offended by the comments made by Biman Prasad.
