The Baptist Churches of Fiji will be taking two three ton trucks filled with relief supplies to Barotu and Rokoroko villages in Rakiraki on Friday.
City Baptist Pastor, Kory Mears says these two trucks will be filled with building materials, beddings, clothes, food and sanitary items for the villagers.
Mears who visited Barotu on Tuesday with some rations, says they were the first to arrive there with the much needed assistance.
They are also raising money through their overseas based churches so they can help rebuild the church and some homes in the village. They are also hoping to take food supplies to them on a weekly basis.
