Minister for Transport Parveen Bala has told SODELPA MP Aseri Radrodro that his comment on e-ticketing is a direct insult to the 600,000 people who had registered for e-ticketing, after Radrodro said that there was lack of public consultation.

Bala made the comments during the Speakers Debate on the topic "Is Fiji’s Transport System Working?” held in Suva last night.

This is after Radrodro’s comments that there was a lack of necessary consultation by the Government with the public regarding e-ticketing.

Bala says that public consultation on E-ticketing has been an ongoing process and that the introduction of e-ticketing is historic for Fiji.
