“FijiFirst leader Voreqe Bainimarama did not decide to go ahead with this election, it is God that has decided to have this election for the people of Fiji.”
Speaking to 40 people in Cunningham Stage Four, SODELPA candidate Semesa Karavaki made that comment after reading Bainimarama’s comments that he had thought all along that the politicians would support the way forward for Fiji and that is to remove racist policies and treat all Fijians equally.
Bainimarama had said in the Fiji Sun interview that he should have called off the election if he had known that these politicians would promote racist policies.
