Good news for the customers of Bank of South Pacific as their new core banking system will be implemented from this weekend.
BSP Country Manager, Kevin McCarthy says all BSP Operations country wide will close from 2pm and 3pm today till 9.30am Monday to allow the transformation to take place.
People will also not be able to access BSP ATMs and EFTPOS terminals from 11pm on Saturday till 6am Sunday.
The core banking system will simplify processes and decentralize operations to their offices, transforming most of BSP manual operations into digital.
He says customers will walk in their branches and within 20 minutes they will be able to walk out with their personal loans approved and money in their hands.
He confirms the $16 million project will improve their customers banking experience.
