Words could not express the smiles on the faces of more than 18 families of Bouma settlement in Labasa as they received their Christmas family gift packs from the Bank of the South Pacific.
While delivering his speech at the handing over of gifts, General Manager Human Resources Howard Politini said these families were identified by the Foundation for the Education of Needy Children in Fiji.
Politini said this is part of their program where they are trying to reach out to marginalized communities with Christmas hampers where they can appreciate it and enjoy Christmas.
Meanwhile, 43-year-old Paulini Waqaniboro of Bouma settlement said tears were coming out from their eyes while receiving their family gifts from BSP.
She said they are blessed to be provided with such assistance in this Christmas.
