Three printing machines worth $848,500 have been received by the Ministry of Education at the Government Printing Complex in Vatuwaqa today.
Minister for Education Dr Mahendra Reddy says since the Ministry is involved in providing all the text books and other educational materials to schools, this will help them to deliver quality education.
While handing over the equipment to the Education Minister, the Australian counterpart, Christopher Pyne says this will make the Fiji‑Australia bond stronger than before.
According to the Ministry the machines have printed close to half a million copies of textbooks, teachers’ resources, Ministry of Education materials and transport vouchers from November 2014 to July this year.
