Asco Motors Fiji has launched the 2018 Toyota Dream Car Art Contest.
This is the second consecutive year for Asco Motors to participate in this global Contest.
The competition has been running globally for the last twelve years, with over 3 million entries received.
The contest is divided into three categories based on the age of the children; under 7 years of age, 8 to 11 and 12 to 15 years.
Three innovative drawings from each category will be submitted to Japan for the world contest.
Last year, out of the submitted entries, Opeti Chambers who is a Class 4 Student of Nadi Sangam Primary School won in the
8 to 11 age category under the East Asia and Oceanic Competition.
He had the opportunity to travel to Japan early this year with his father to attend the awards ceremony.
There is no fee associated with entering the contest.
The artwork must be hand drawn with any paint medium including water paint, colour markers or crayon.
Participants are encouraged to be creative in dreaming off a futuristic car with a background that supports the idea.
The drawing will be viewed by a global audience and should appeal to people of diverse cultures.
The contest closes on February 2nd next year.
