US Ambassador to Fiji Judith Cefkin says the arrival of the USNS Mercy to Fiji shows the unwavering US commitment to Fiji.
While officially welcoming the United States Naval Ship Mercy and its crew in the 10th year of Pacific Partnership missions, Cefkin says this initiative demonstrates the US commitment to the Pacific partners in strengthening friendships.
Cefkin says in the 4 months of her tenure as US Ambassador to Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Tonga and Tuvalu she has been constantly reminded of how much is at stake in their cooperation.
