Another team of officers has been sent down to Natadola to assist investigations into the discovery of human remains in the area.
They will also help investigate the case regarding the missing Russian couple.
Police divers are also continuing their search.
Chief of Intelligence and Investigations, ACP Luke Navela said there is still no link at this stage between the Russian couple and the body parts that were found.
Police have requested INTERPOL to get DNA samples from the relatives of the Russian couple who were reported missing earlier this month.
These samples will be used to trace whether there is a link between the body parts that were found at Natadola beach to the missing Russian couple.
INTERPOL is liaising with relatives of the couple in Russia.
Police have also not ruled out the suggestion that the Russian couple could have left the country
People are also requested to immediately report to police any citing of items of interest which could be used to form a link to the body parts that have been found.
Several items were found in the couple’s land cruiser at Natadola Rd, Sigatoka.
This included the woman’s clothes and a passport.
Another set of human body parts were discovered on Sunday and the remains are now undergoing forensic tests.
A security guard discovered the first set of body parts at Natadola Beach last Friday.
Russian couple, Yuri Shipulin and his wife Natalia have been missing since the 16th of this month.
