There has been an average of two home invasions every week for the past three weeks.
This has been confirmed by Chief Operations Officer ACP Rusiate Tudravu who said their team is investigating some cases where they have arrested suspects.
Tudravu said they do have patrols and these vehicles are concentrated only in Suva, Nasinu and Samabula.
He added that they are getting more vehicles now and these will be deployed to the Western Division and Labasa.
Meanwhile no arrests have been made regarding a case where a couple was robbed by three people in Samabula over the weekend.
Police say the two who are both in their 50s were about to get into their vehicle when the incident happened.
Items such as phones, assorted jewellery, cash and foreign currency were stolen.
Police are requesting foreign exchange outlets to keep a look out for anyone who they may come into contact with and are acting in a suspicious manner to call Crime Stoppers on 919.
Investigations continue.
