Almost 2 years on and still no breakthrough for Police in the case of Iosefo Magnus

It has been 1 year and 9 months now however Police are yet to make a breakthrough in investigations into the brutal murder of 21-year-old Iosefo Magnus.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says they are continuing with their investigations.

Magnus was found dead in Vesida near a shortcut in Caubati in September 2017.

He was a second year law student at the University of the South Pacific.

Fijivillage was informed by an eyewitness in 2017 that she had seen the 21‑year‑old that night with two other men and she had also said that she saw the two men badly beating up the deceased.

Police have opted not to say anything further as investigations continue.
