Alleged wife murderer applies for bail in Suva High Court

A man who allegedly assaulted his wife and murdered her by making her drink paraquat has applied for bail in the Suva High Court.

Tevita Deve who is charged with murder is now represented by Legal Aid.

The wife was admitted in the hospital for a few days before passing away.

The bail hearing will be held before High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar on 10th June this year.
