Some youths were seen looting in Nadi town today.
An Executive of South Pacific Recording Krupesh Patel said that youths were seen breaking into Courts, Tappoos and RB Patel at day time today.
He said there were no police officers on site and it was a free for all for the youths.
Meanwhile Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed that they have received reports of looting however they cannot go and find out on which shops have been looted as the flood waters in the town area is too high.
Sokomuri said they have blocked the entry and exit points of Nadi and Sigatoka towns and movement of people is restricted.
A restriction of movement is in place in the major centers of the western division.
