All health workers will be compensated for their outstanding overtime pay.
The Ministry of Health and Medical Services is now looking at its funding availability for the rest of the year to ensure that these health workers are paid accordingly.
Permanent Secretary, Mecuisela Tuicakau says their senior managers and operational supervisors are working to develop an amicable solution to the non-payment of overtime within the Ministry.
He says the problem will be solved soon.
Overtime pay for all health workers was stopped in June.
Tuicakau says they are also developing a strategy which will ensure that health workers are not required to work overtime.
