The Divisional Planning Officer Northern, Alipate Bolalevu says they will monitor and see that all the affected homes receive water supply through trucks as the dry weather condition continues in the country.
Bolalevu made this comment after residents in Yalava, Tabia raised concerns that water trucks leave without giving water to some of the families.
A 45-year-old poultry farmer says he was using water from the well but it has dried up and he had to go to other neighbouring villages to look for water for his farm and family.
He says water is being carted in their area once a week but they do not go to some houses.
Bolalevu says people can call immediately to their office for assistance as they want all the affected families to get assistance.
Bolalevu also highlights that close to $70,000 worth of water has been distributed in the interior areas of Seaqaqa, Labasa and Wainikoro in the last two weeks.
Bolalevu says they are also looking at providing assistance to Taveuni, Udu Point, Kia and Druadrua.
He says they are working with the Water Authority of Fiji to assist people especially in schools and nursing stations.
