Rizwan Ali who allegedly stabbed a man to death in Sigatoka last week has been granted bail.
Ali who is charged with one count of murder has been released for a bail bond of $8,000 with two sureties.
32‑year‑old, Ali has to surrender his passport and he has been ordered by the court not to interfere with the prosecution witnesses.
Ali has also been ordered by the court to report to the Nadi Police station every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
In addition Ali has to reside in Nawaka, Nadi away from the crime scene because of tension in the area.
Ali allegedly stabbed a 27‑year‑old man at Sovi Bay, Sigatoka during an argument on the 12th of this month.
The case will be called on 15th August at the Lautoka High Court.
