A couple allegedly found with methamphetamine in September this year have applied for bail in the Suva Magistrates Court.
Alena Baleisuva Rogo and Lambert Philpe Kuruvoli are jointly charged with unlawful importation of illicit drugs.
Rogo is also charged with one count of unlawful possession.
They were alleged to have imported 416.4 grams of methamphetamine into the country between 10th September and 13th October this year.
On the second count, Rogo is alleged to have been found in possession of drugs on October 13th at Raiwaqa.
She was allegedly found in possession of two bottles containing plastics which had methamphetamine.
They have been remanded in custody and the case has been adjourned to 13th November 2018.
