Smiles were brought to children’s faces who are admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital when they were presented gift hampers from the Minister for Health Rossy Akbar earlier this morning.
The gift Hampers were collected by International School of Suva through the support of Extra Supermarket from Lautoka, Eagle Printery, Pure Fiji and the students, teachers and managements of International School in Suva.
International School Suva Primary Office Manager, Lorna Evening says that they will distribute the remaining goodie bags on Wednesday.
Upon presenting the hampers, Akbar wished the children Merry Christmas and motivated them to stay strong as they battle their sickness.
91 Children are currently admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital Children’s Ward.
