Air New Zealand will launch its new Boeing 787‑9 on services to Fiji next summer, ramping up seat capacity on the route.
Air New Zealand will fly the 787‑9 between Auckland and Nadi from November to March adding 8,000 more seats to the route than last year.
Air New Zealand chief sales and commercial officer Cam Wallace said the number of New Zealanders travelling to Fiji had grown steadily over the past three years.
The Boeing 787‑9 services will operate on Saturdays and Sundays, extending to Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the peak.
